Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation

NearLala has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material. This page is our published standard for that policy.

Who the app is for

NearLala is a social map app for people 13 years and older. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13.

What we prohibit

• Any sexual content involving minors, including images, video, live streams, captions, chats, or links
• Grooming, solicitation, or sexualization of minors
• Any attempt to share, store, or request that material through NearLala

Violations lead to removal of the content and the account, and may be reported to the authorities.

How we handle it

• Users can report a profile or post in the app.
• Reports of CSAE are treated as the highest priority.
• We remove violating content and accounts when we become aware of them.
• Where required by law, we preserve and provide information to the appropriate authorities.

How to report

In the app, use Report on a profile or post. You can also email johnmarketoc17@gmail.com with the subject “CSAE report” and any details you can share (profile name, post, time).

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
